Lee
Born in Southern China, Janet Lee immigrated to California with
her family in her early teens. Within one year of arriving she had
received a full scholarship to attend Edina High in Minnesota; a
top US school. After Edina Janet lived in Kochi, Southern Japan
where she studied the language and culture. Janet went on to Pepperdine
University receiving a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in International
Studies.
After university Janet joined Harco, an aerospace company, as International
Accounts Manager. With virtually no international market, Janet
worked closely with outside representatives expanding Harco in Japan,
South Korea, China and Singapore.
Within three years, Janet grew the annual sales of her territories
from less than $500,000 to $10 million positioning the company for
growth through long-term sales contracts. By this time Harco had
been acquired by AlliedSignal, which later merged with Honeywell.
After five years working in Corporate America, Janet left to seek
a more creative and independent career.
In Clover has enabled Janet to nurture her creativity while taking
advantage of her unique background, language abilities, family and
business connections in Asia. Lee is a native speaker of both Cantonese
and Mandarin.
